Join us on a pilgrimage to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy that will include the acclaimed Oberammergau Passion Play.

Day 1

Oberammergau

Arrival at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 4

Innsbruck – Lucerne 300km/4h

The tour starts with a visit of the Eucharistic Miracle of Seefeld. See the high altar and the Chapel of the Holy Blood which contains a monstrance holding the miraculous host. Departure to Switzerland. Visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Einsiendeln, an important Catholic shrine in the village of Einsiendeln. Explore the relics of St Meinrad, a miraculous Black Madonna statue and a Benedictine Monastery. Stop at the fountain fed by St Meinrad`s spring and drink from each of the 14 sprouts. Continue to the Stations of the Cross on a well-marked forest path up to the top of Mt Meinrad. Arrival in Lucerne. Visit Jesuit Church.

Day 5

Lucerne – Turin 350km/4h

Departure to Italy and Turin. Explore the Cathedral of St John the Baptist that lies in a place where the theatre of the ancient Roman city was located. See the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, the current resting place of the Shroud of Turin. Overnight.

Day 8

Assisi

Visit the Franciscan Missionary Sisters. Explore the Basilica of St Francis, the mother church of The Roman Catholic Order of Friars Minor. See St Francis’s tomb. Continue to Basilica Superior, Basilica Santa Maria Degli Angeli, the Thornless Garden, Basilica of St Clare, Damiano Church and the Thornless Garden. Overnight in Assisi.

Day 9

Assisi – Cascia 90km/1h30min – Lanciano 200km/3h – Rotondo 280km/3h

Departure to Cascia. Visit the Shrine of St Rita and the Eucharistic miracle of Cascia. Continue to Lanciano to venerate the First and Greatest Eucharistic Miracle where the Host turned to Flesh and the Wine to Blood. Travel to Rotondo and visit the sanctuary of Saint Pio, the first stigmatized priest. Overnight in Rotondo.

Day 10  

Rotondo – Rome 250km/3h30min

Travel to the Cathedral of Alatri to venerate a most wonderful Eucharistic miracle. Continue to Rome. Visit the Basilica of St Paul, believed to be the final resting place of St Paul.  Continue to the Basilica of St John the Lateran, the most ancient church in the world. Visit Scala Santa and honor the Passion of Jesus. Admire Santa Croce and its extraordinary collection of relics from the Holy Land.
